Making a 'Long, Slow, Comfortable Screw up against the Wall'
The long and uncomfortably slow Story

This page will describe, in great detail, how to make a Long, Slow, Comfortable Screw up against the Wall.

First of all we will need to make some sloe gin. This is a rather time consuming process but sloe gin seems to be commercially unavailable here in Denmark, and it's probably more fun to make it yourself anyway.
It all started on June 9th, 2006.

To make sloe gin we'll need:

An airtight container,

a bottle of gin (I have chosen Tanqueray for its superior taste),

Some sloe berries,

And a cool, dark place.

Later we'll need some other stuff but this'll do for now.

This is 230 grams of sloes and 400 ml of gin in the airtight container.

And now we wait. To be continued sometime in the distant future.

I'm back!
It's now July 2008 and stuff has happened! While my gin was being infused with the bitter goodness of the sloes I've found that sloe gin is in fact available to the Danish consumer in the excellent shop Højbro Vine. This will permit me to experiment with and perfect the recipe for a long, slow, comfortable screw up against the wall without wasting any of my precious home made sloe gin.
Stuff has also happened happened in that department! I have poured a rather large amount of fancy raw cane sugar (only the best is good enough for my gin) into the container and I have followed a vigorous and complicated shaking schedule for about half a year after starting the process.
Alas, due to a computer crash and my mindless stupidity I have no pictures of these critical parts.
I do however have pictures of the most recent event: The filtration and transferral of the sloe gin to a bottle which will be its new home:

Pouring the gin:

Thank you berries. Your job is done; rest now!

The glorious result.

In about half a year my sloe gin should be ready. Until then, gentle reader, farewell ...
